Cambridge 2011

International scientific and educational workshop in CTEPH (June 27-28, 2011 Cambridge, UK)

The first international scientific & educational conference in CTEPH held under the patronage of the International CTEPH Association (former “Association for Research in CTEPH”) was held on 27-28th of June 2011 at Robinson College, Cambridge, UK. The meeting was organised by the Association for Research in CTEPH, in close collaboration with Papworth Hospital and the University of Cambridge Teaching Hospital.

The meeting included a special session “Pulmonary Endarterectomy (PEA) Surgery in 2011 & Beyond” for surgeons.

With over 250 participants, among those nearly 30 thoracic surgeons, this has been the largest medical event focusing on CTEPH. The meeting has been accredited by the European Board for Accreditation in Cardiology (EBAS).
